Nature inspires Creation

"This work I do is a journey of the spirit, and I am always amazed at the process I find myself in. Creating this floor mural for Surface FX in Santa Barbara, CA, was an exploration into the Sacred Geometry of nature, and was a truly spiritual experience. At times, the edges of the room disappeared and I was enveloped in the spiral of curves and oceanic movement. Absorbed into the subtle transition of shades and hues, I used my paintbrush to sculpt the shell from and into the floor. It is a magical artwork that shifts and moves with the viewer, simultaneously inspiring a sense of awe and tranquility. In the trend of Goergia O'Keefe, my vision was to enlarge the beauty of nature to the point that it is undeniable.
