Faux Painting and Custom Architectural Finishes
Emiliano Art & Design specializes in amazing custom architectural and faux finishes that give ordinary surfaces a luxurious feeling. His painted and often textural effects are extremely convincing. They are created to, at times, harmoniously integrate with their surroundings, and at others, to give that fantasy surface that gives a space that special elegant edge. He works to imitate materials and come up with design solutions that would not be possible, or otherwise save money for his client by creating any effect for a fraction of the cost. His realistic faux effects are usually mistaken for "the real thing", and often go unnoticed as a painted or replicated surface.. for this type of work, that is the ultimate compliment!
Advantages his Faux work provides:
- Saves money on installation, transportation and materials
- Have the exact color and surface desired.. no compromising for what is available!
- It's a Green solution! Change what you have to what you dream of having.. No demo or waste!

Custom work for the Coral Casino Members Club, Montecito, CA
" Our work was a significant part of the 2008 historic restoration of the 1930's Coral Casino Members Club in Montecito, CA. Faux woodgrain finishes, silver-leaf gilded ceiling, unique custom surfaces, and the restoration (actually more of a ressurection!) of a historic mural from the 1930's were all aspects of our work there! Working with architect Barry Winick and helping to realize the vision of the renowned architect Peter Marino was a true pleasure. The client (Mr. Ty Warner) walked through smiling and gave all our work a big thumbs-up!"

What they created was simply beautiful and far exceeded our own vision and expectations. Visitors to Serafina are literally stunned as they walk in the door and behold a work of art. They are artists who love their work and want their patrons to love it as much as they do. They are easy to work with and dedicated to understanding what their client wants and then expressing that desire creatively and originally.Michael Marquart & Susan Pattillo
