Artist Emiliano Campobello shares his painted illusion " trompe l'oeil " (french for "to trick the eye") mural he painted of the Santa Ynez Valley for American Indian Health & Services Dental Clinic in Santa Barbara, California. This painted illusion is of a window opening to a view of this dramatic landscape, with still-life items in honor of the Chumash Indians, the natives of this beautiful area. This 15-foot mural gives a relaxing feeling helping visitors open to receive the healing treatments of the clinic. Emiliano's melodious Native American flute music in the background compliments his painted visuals of the rolling hills, mountains and valleys.
